Ernst Einhard Scheimpflug

Einhard joined the Bicycle.net team in September 2013. He grew up in Germany, riding his bike to school and college, whether rain or shine, summer heat or ice and snow in winter. In 2011, Einhard came to Los Angeles to pursue a career in commercial sports photography, and he quickly fell in love with riding in sunny Southern California all year round. He likes to chase challengers in local crit and road races, when not in a race he rides outside of bike lanes and chases cars. Even today Einhard thinks honking cars and “Get off the road!” shout outs are friendly greetings in the city of angels.

His idols are Marcel Kittel and, of course, Jens Voigt.

“Having things organized is for small-minded people. Genius controls chaos” – Jens Voigt.
